(Wed, Mar 24 2010 - Wed, May 5 2010)
Are you the next Bill Gates, Michael Dell, or Michael Zuckerberg?
These successful business owners began as teenagers, and so can you.
Join Be Entrepreneurial, a free program sponsored by the Junior Achievement Program, Pike County Public Library, Dime Bank, and the local business community.
Teens and adults are welcome to attend.
Each session will be led by a business owner in Pike County who will lend expertise on different topics such as competitive advantages in business, the role of ethics in a company, writing business plans, and much more. Through interactive classroom activities, participants will develop their own products and services throughout the weeks, culminating in a presentation to business professionals during the last session.
Those interested in this free program are encouraged to sign up by contacting the Milford Branch of PCPL in person or by calling 570-296-8211. The program will run for seven weeks on Wednesday evenings, from March 24th through May 5th, from 7-8:30 p.m. at the Library Annex, located at 201 West Harford Street
(across from the Post Office.)
